Smart Cyber Choices – parent education event.  This will be open to all parents/students in GUHSD and middle school parents as well – we are so lucky to have it be hosted conveniently at West Hills.  I highly encourage ALL of you to come, and if your student has no final exams the next day, PLEASE bring your student.   It is put on by the San Diego Police Foundation and teaches parents how to help their student make responsible and ethical cyber choices; it will explain the risks, and what you can do to minimize them.  More than 1,000 parents have attended this workshop and 82% rated it excellent, and 18% rated it good.  98% reported they plan on talking with their children about what they learned.
