THINGS TO REMEMBER FOR YOUR PROJECT:
- Planning is vital! To come up with a 4-6 minute presentation, you really have to know what you are doing. Make use of your time in class to plan down to the smallest detail!
- Make use of your group members and delegate responsibilities. You chose your groups and assigned preliminary jobs. Hold each other accountable - and resolve any problems as a group. You’re in it together! And, don’t feel like everyone needs to do the same thing at the same time - 3 to 4 people can be doing anywhere from 3-4 things at the same time - in fact, you’ll get more done while working simultaneously on different tasks compared to 3 people sitting and watching the other 1 work!
- This project does not have to be "pure" video - you are welcome to use still images, voice-overs, narration, and anything else that would be reasonable and appropriate to sell your campaign. Mix it up a little bit!
- Keep it school appropriate! Do not do things in your video that would be against school policy, law, or general decency!
- Use what you have! There is no request or expectation for you to purchase anything for this project, except for maybe a blank tape for your video camera! Don’t feel as if you need to buy a new camera or any software for this project. Free, web-based software is available (see resources).
- Keep your project relevant to the assignment, and show me creative use of propaganda techniques. Don’t digress from your assignment, as this is what is being graded.
- ANY MISSED DUE DATE WILL RESULT IN A 20 POINT DEDUCTION OFF THE FINAL GRADE FOR THE ENTIRE GROUP.
